A Connecticut jury reached a verdict on Wednesday in conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ Connecticut defamation trial, ordering the Infowars host to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in damages among the 15 plaintiffs — including victims’ families and an FBI agent — for calling the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre a hoax.
